Hi, I'm Elizabeth Viera — a full-stack senior software engineer based in San Francisco who obsesses over getting things right: technically sound, carefully considered, and polished down to the last detail.
Over the past eight years, I've worked across fintech, e-commerce, and AI-powered tooling. Some of my favorite work has been at Etsy, where I got to support independent artists and makers by building ad experiences that connected them with buyers around the world — and lifted revenue by millions in the process. I also have a deep love for payments and financial systems: there's something satisfying about getting the details right in a heavily regulated environment. I've built payment and compliance infrastructure at WePay and most recently designed a pay rate scheduling system used by thousands of businesses at Teambridge.
I studied Logic at the University of Michigan — where I proposed and became the first graduate of the undergraduate Logic major — and went on to get my M.S. in Logic, Computation, and Methodology from Carnegie Mellon.
